Turn off WSD on all printers, but still have the issue on computers that are used both at office and client's sites. Block WSD ports on the firewall, maybe break some process that requires it I didn't know about.ģ. Mess with registry key "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\WSD Port" and risk running into issues with some windows updates.Ģ. I'm currently stuck with three options that are all less than Idealġ. Modifying the policy "Add Printer wizard - Network scan page" (Both) doesn't help one bit. I've looked through windows 10 group policy to see if I can find options to stop windows 10 searching, finding or installing printers but there doesn't seem to be anything there. Some users travel a lot for their jobs, sometimes work at customer's sites so it's not ideal to let windows auto install printers.
