![]() ![]() So this will be a lot of trial and error. Unfortunately there is no service manual for the unit, except a moderate scan of the schematics. Not on the PA and not on the coax from the RF board to the PA. But switching to TX does not give any signal. I can switch modes and if I select AM and rise the volume to 2/3rds I also have some noise on the speaker. The unit does communicate to my computer, lacking any windows I use Linux with FLRig as control software. And I do that for testing my own skills again and again :) So today on the bench a Pegasus 550 that has underwent some reals ugly repair trials including shorts on the RS232 converter and a really burnt PCB around the Serial to parallel shift register on the RF unit.
